When I’m moonlighting …
I teach entrepreneurship clinics at the University of San Diego School of Law
- JD, summa cum laude, University of San Diego
- BA, University of Michigan
I’m in my element in San Diego, where the business community is powered by entrepreneurs. Engaging with start-ups puts our local Mintz Levin team at the center of what’s happening in the region’s growth industries: technology, life sciences, health care, financial services. My contributions? Experience with and connections to the world of angel and venture capital financing, and a deep knowledge of corporate governance issues and creative structures. I’ve also represented a number of enterprises in successful mergers and acquisitions — transactions that have taken organizations to the next level and realized value for the time and capital invested in building the business. After hours, there’s more start-up work. At the University of San Diego School of Law, I run a clinic where I assist my students in providing legal services to high tech business ventures, emerging growth companies, and college students with big aspirations and bigger visions. I’m immersed in your world and committed to providing legal solutions that meet your needs.
Companies I’ve helped get off the ground:
- ACEA Biosciences, Inc.
- Cylance Inc.
- Reality Shares, Inc.
- Wholesome Valley Foods Corp. (Barnana)
- Member, Mintz Levin Corporate & Securities Practice
- Adjunct Professor of Law, University of San Diego
